MaRS is a not-for-profit corporation founded by leaders from the business and public sectors to improve commercial outcomes from Canada’s foundation of science and technology innovation.

This event is talking place Monday, May 28th from 8:00am in the MaRS Collaboration Centre where infonaut will be one of three companies presenting to a special group of investors, entrepreneurs, and other industry leading companies.

Infonaut have been invited to provide a demonstration of how the latest GIS technology is being leveraged in the healthcare industry to better plan, monitor, and deliver services.

MaRS, a convergence innovation centre located in Toronto’s renowned “Discovery District”, will be profiling some of the trends, technologies and companies who are driving the market for Location Based Services.

Location-Based Services (LBS) have been steadily evolving as these technologies ”browse” the physical space around us, connecting us to people, places and unexpected bits of information.

The explosion of new mobile and web-based services is expected to push the global market for LBS Services from $1 billion to $8.5 billion during the next four years and Infonaut are well placed to take advantage of this phenomenal growth.
