Infonaut Inc. are pleased to announce that, as part of the Health Results Team for Information Management, we have received the Public Sector Quality Fair Gold Award – granted for successful initiatives that place a focus of improving the quality and accessibility of data.
The Health Results Team for Information Management have adopted the Region Watch Live platform as a GIS enabled decision support system to aid the 14 Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) in better understanding health infrastructure and health outcomes in their particular area.
Region Watch Live is a map-based decision support system that gives LHINs and health management professionals, analysts, and decision-makers quick and easy access to large volumes of data at various geographic thresholds, enabling them to:
* Document community needs and assess resource allocations
* Monitor diseases and interventions over time
* Map populations at risk and stratify risk factors
* Analyze and present spatial trends, like geographical distribution and variation of diseases, their prevalence, and incidence – over time
And, being web-based with no additional client downloads, it is accessible anywhere, anytime to anyone with a logon password, web browser, and internet connection.
We are particularly pleased with the Gold Award this year, as the theme of this year’s Public Sector Quality Fair, “Celebrating a Culture of Quality”, is something very important to our company and our clients.
The Public Sector Quality Fair is an annual event showcasing service quality excellence within Ontario in the federal, provincial, municipal and broader public sector. The Public Sector Quality Fair is THE major annual event of the Public Sector Quality Council in Ontario.
The Council is a public sector network that promotes awareness and application of quality principles and practices in public services within Ontario. Public Sector Quality Fair participants are from the public sector, not-for-profit organizations and private sector companies.
