Mr. McPherson spoke at the at the National Collaborating Centres’ Summer Institute on Knowledge Transfer about the potential for using Internet mapping to bring together data from a wide variety of sources. He demonstrated how public health managers and analysts in Ontario are using Internet-based mapping for strategic & resource planning. Matt highlighted the fact that there is a growing rate of map literacy among the general public, including high-level decision-makers, exemplified by Infonaut’s easy-to-use health mapping tools.
